Before electronic music became the focus of his latest project, KOMBY DOT IO had already built a career across professional kitchens, French radio, digital marketing, and technology. Born in the suburbs of Paris, the artist is now drawing those experiences together for Pattern, a forthcoming 14-track album rooted in three decades of personal and professional change. Its lead single, “Komby Komby,” introduces a project that places autobiography at the center of its narrative.

Rather than explaining the entire story upfront, “Komby Komby” is designed to encourage curiosity about the name and identity behind the music. The planned sequence then moves into “Make It Easy” and “I Left My Fears Behind,” shifting from introduction toward the experience of confronting uncertainty and crossing borders. Later chapters, including “Higher” and “Journey,” explore vulnerability, rebuilding, and growth.

The album’s storytelling draws on skills developed long before this release. Nearly ten years working with major French radio stations, including NRJ, Fun Radio, and MFM, introduced KOMBY DOT IO to broadcasting, timing, and audience attention. He subsequently founded Electromix Records in 2007, distributing music across approximately 240 territories before pausing around 2012 for personal reasons. His label and production activities returned in 2026 under Komby Music.

Six tracks from Pattern have been completed, with two music videos released and a third on the way. A campaign beginning in September is planned to introduce the project gradually, although a full album release date has not been announced. For KOMBY DOT IO, the unfolding sequence gives each stage of his story its own place, rather than compressing decades of reinvention into a single introduction.
